The Everton youngster is expected to start against Lyon in the Europa League this evening.

Everton winger Ademola Lookman has been frustrated in his pursuit of Premier League football this season but he should get the opportunity to impress when the Toffees face Lyon this evening.
Everton’s struggles have been well documented and they have faltered both domestically and in Europe, leaving their Europa League hopes hanging by a thread after just three group matches.

There is still time to turn things around, but they need to overcome an impressive Lyon side away from home this evening if they are to have any hope of reaching the knockout stages.
Lookman may have got just 15 minutes of Premier League action this season yet he did play the second half of the reverse fixture against the French club and he will be hoping to make his mark this time round.
To do so, he may need to outshine another winger in the form of Memphis Depay, who has been in great form since swapping Manchester United for a stint in Ligue 1 for a reported £21.7million (as reported by Sky Sports).

The 23-year-old has scored six goals and provided three assists in 13 appearances for Lyon this season and he should start against Everton.
If Lookman wants to give Unsworth no choice but to pick him in the league, and to ensure he sends a message to Everton’s next permanent manager, out-performing Depay on foreign soil would be a great way of doing it.
There is no doubting the Everton winger’s talent. Now he needs to prove he can perform at the highest level.
