Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has hit back at Liverpool fans who trolled him on Twitter.
Everton picked up a 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Tuesday evening, and Bolasie suggested that his side had Jurgen Klopp’s men ‘on the ropes’.
Bolasie took some criticism on board for the tweet from Liverpool supporters, who he then accused of being glory hunters.
One Reds fan tweeted Bolasie about laughing his Everton career, but the Toffees attacker was quick to hit back at him.
The Liverpool fan has now deleted his account, while Bolasie sent a highlights video to another Reds supporter who was giving him some abuse.
Bolasie’s social media actions have earned him huge praise from Everton supporters, but it does seem his time at the club is coming to an end.
Bolasie joined Everton for £25 million in 2016 (Guardian), but he has been sent out on a series of loan spells in recent times.
