Everton would be making a superb signing by bringing in Callum Wilson in the January transfer window.

The Bournemouth striker is said to be on Everton’s wishlist as they look for a new forward by the Daily Mail.

And if Everton did bring in Wilson he could be just what Marco Silva’s side need for the second half of the season.

Wilson has been linked with a move to a top four club, but the step up to Everton could be more suited to him.

It is easy to forget just how far Wilson has risen in recent years, as he looks so comfortable in the Premier League now.

But Wilson was playing League One football just four years ago, and the leap to the Champions League may be too much for him right now.

However, that does not mean that the wouldn’t be a wonderful signing for Everton.

Wilson could offer pace and energy to Everton’s attack and, most importantly, he is a clinical finisher.

The 26-year-old has hit eight Premier League goals in just 15 appearances for the Toffees in the Premier League this term.

And if Everton could bring him to Goodison Park next month he would be the perfect addition for Silva’s side, as he would offer the Toffees’ attack everything they have been missing.
