Everton attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic has caught the eye out on loan this season.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Nikola Vlasic is set to leave Everton, with Marco Silva seemingly making his mind up about the Croatian.

Vlasic has been making noises about potentially leaving Everton to join CSKA Moscow on a permanent transfer all season, after enjoying a loan spell in Russia.

And it seems that the Toffees could grant his wish, with the Liverpool Echo suggesting that the attacking midfielder is one of a huge number of players who are likely to leave Goodison Park in the summer.

Silva only said in midweek to SportKlub that he needed to make his mind up over the future of Vlasic soon.

And it seems that Everton may have decided to allow the £10 million man (BBC Sport) to leave.

However, in doing so, they may well have made a mistake as Vlasic has proven he could have something to offer the Toffees.

Granted, Everton have a wealth of young attacking talent already at the club.

But Vlasic has scored against Real Madrid this season, he has impressed in the Champions League, and he has contributed 15 goals and assists in just 28 games.

For an attacking midfielder at the age of just 21 those figures are highly impressive.

And if Everton were to lose Vlasic they may regret not pushing harder to keep him at the club in the future, if he goes on to fulfil his potential elsewhere.
