The Everton man is a reported transfer target for West Ham United.
The Hammers have been linked with a move for Toffees ace Kevin Mirallas in January, according to the Mirror, with David Moyes keen on bringing his former player to the London Stadium.
The 30-year-old Belgian has fallen out with temporary Everton boss David Unsworth, and is looking for an escape route from Goodison Park.
Moyes should be careful when considering an approach for the former Olympiacos man, however, what with the trouble that always seems to accompany him.
West Ham are a team full of prima donnas as it is, with their gradual decline being caused by having too many overpaid, overrated players amongst the squad.
There is no doubting Mirallas’ technical ability, it is after-all right up there with the very best, but is he the kind of player a club like the Hammers need in what has become a very real relegation scrap?
The simple answer is no.
Moyes has plenty of options in the wide attacking areas, and the addition of an experienced midfielder or defender should surely be the Scot’s priority.

The east London outfit have a lot of hard work ahead of themselves, if they are to excavate themselves from the troublesome position that they are currently in.
And it could be argued that Mirallas’ addition to the team would only be detrimental to their ability of doing just that.
