Valencia have set an asking price of around £15.5 million for Everton target Aymen Abdennour.

According to Spanish outlet Deporte Valenciano, Everton will be able to sign Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour for a fee of around £15.5 million.
Following the departure of John Stones to Manchester City, Everton moved very quickly to replace the England international by signing Ashley Williams from Swansea City.

There is no doubting the fact that Williams is a very good replacement for Stones, but the Welsh international is not getting any younger and as a result Everton manager Ronald Koeman is believed to be in the market to sign another central defender in the coming days.
Respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, recently claimed that Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour is one of the players being targeted by Everton.
In addition, Balague added that Valencia are keen on selling Abdennour this summer following the defender’s terrible debut campaign at the Mestalla last term.

Spanish outlet Deporte Valenciano have now gone on to also claim that Everton hold a genuine interest in signing Abdennour and have suggested that the Toffees will be able to land the services of the Tunisian international for a fee of around £15.5 million.
Abdennour may have struggled at Valencia last season but the 27-year-old remains a very good defender and he could well prove to be a decent signing for Everton at the aforementioned price.
