Everton are interested in signing Michail Antonio with West Ham United allegedly open to offers for the veteran striker this month.
That’s according to TalkSPORT, who claim that Everton are ‘ready to turn’ to Antonio as they hope to bring in a new striker.
West Ham are allegedly willing to let Antonio leave this month as long as they can find a replacement.
Lampard and Everton are now ready to join the race after Wolverhampton Wanderers showed a real interest.
There has even been interest from Chelsea according to The Guardian, but West Ham snubbed their attempts at a loan deal.
West Ham are pushing to land Lorient striker Terem Moffi, who has also been linked with Everton, and a deal for him could see Antonio leave.

Antonio’s 2015 move from Nottingham Forest has been a masterstroke for West Ham.
With more than 250 appearances for the club, Antonio has been a mainstay under a number of managers and has been a fan favourite over the years.
Antonio became a solid Premier League striker, bagging 10 goals in each season from 2019-20 through to 2021-2022.
This season has been a lot trickier though, with Antonio only managing two Premier League goals in 18 appearances.
The arrival of Gianluca Scamacca over the summer means Antonio has only started eight Premier League games and come off the bench 10 times.
Antonio just doesn’t quite look the player he once was and at almost 33, there is reason to fear that he is heading for a sharp decline.
That’s something Everton need to be very wary of; they have signed too many of those players over the years.
Everton need goals and with Antonio’s drying up this season – and his advancing years – we’re not sure this is exactly what the Toffees are seeking.
