Everton host Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby on Monday.

Monday evening sees one of the most exciting games of this round of Premier League fixtures as Everton host Liverpool at Goodison Park.

It will be the first Merseyside derby of the season in what has been an interesting season so far for both sides.

Everton have posted more won tackles per game, 15.3 compared to 13.6 and more defensive duels per game, 60.5 compared to 55.3.

Liverpool have managed more ball recoveries per game, though, while the two sides have conceded the same number of goals, 20 a piece.

The Reds have posted more accurate passes per game than the Blues, 514 compared to 344, while they have also played more key passes per game.

That has seen them register more shots on target per game, 6.5 compared to 4.9 and score more goals too, 40 compared to Everton’s 21.
