Could there be a late twist in the Premier League title race?

Chelsea, leading the Premier League by four points, travel to Goodison Park to face Everton who are in red hot form at home this season.

The Toffees have won their last eight home games in the Premier League and are expected to pose a strong challenge on Sunday afternoon.

Ronald Koeman does not have any fresh injury worries, and as such he isn’t expected to make a wholesale change this weekend for the visit of Chelsea.

Maarten Stekelenburg played the last game in Everton’s 0-0 draw against West Ham, and he could retain his place for the upcoming game.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have bounced back from their 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford with back to back moral boosting wins against Tottenham Hotspur (FA Cup) and Southampton.

However, facing an in-form Everton team at Goodison poses a different challenge altogether, and the outcome of the game could have a massive impact on the title race.

If Chelsea drop points, and Tottenham win their game against Arsenal, the gap could be down to one or two points which will make the title race very interesting. On the other hand, a victory will take them one step closer to title glory.
