HITC View: Marcus Edwards would be the dream Toffees signing

An area of the pitch where Sean Dyche’s men lack ideas is up front, as even their wingers seem to create and score goals, as well as impact games constantly on an infrequent basis.

Marcus Edwards is renowned to be dangerous in 1v1 situations, blessed with searing pace and has shown that he can put the numbers up on the board, which is why Everton are right to prioritise his transfer.

While Edwards’ welcome blend of technical excellence and athleticism makes him a perfect fit for the English top-flight, whether the Toffees even survive will primarily determine if they can even dream of signing him.
