Frank Lampard’s Everton have made an offer to Villarreal for Arnaut Danjuma, a player Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur also want to sign, according to TEAMtalk.

Everton have offer for Tottenham target Arnaut Danjuma turned down

The report has claimed that Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth all want to sign Danjuma from La Liga club Villarreal in the January transfer window.

The Yellow Submarine are open to letting the Netherlands international winger leave this month.

However, according to the report, Villarreal have turned down an offer from Everton for Danjuma, described as “absolutely exceptional” by former Liverpool striker Michael Owen on BT Sport in 2021.

Could a January transfer happen?

According to The Sun, Villarreal want £35 million for Arnaut Danjuma.

So, if Everton or Tottenham want to sign the former Bournemouth winger, then they should pay the transfer fee needed.

It is as simple as that.

Now, the question is whether Danjuma would want to go to an Everton team who could end up in the Championship at the end of the season.

We think that Tottenham would be more appealing to the winger than the Toffees.

However, we have to ask whether Spurs would be willing to pay £35 million for an attacking player when they are well stocked in that area.
