Federico Pastorello, the agent of Neal Maupay has opened the door for his client to leave Everton to join a Serie A side in the summer.
This news comes after what he told Tutto Mercato Web as Sean Dyche’s men find themselves in a relegation battle, with the £49,000-a-week [Salary Sport] man finding himself in and out of the team.
With 12 games to go, the agent of Neal Maupay has admitted that he can see his client departing Everton to sign for a Serie A club next season.
Everton striker Maupay could join Serie A club, says agent
The French striker has scored a mere goal in the Premier League since making a summer move to the Toffees from Brighton & Hove Albion in what has been an unimpressive spell at Goodison Park so far.
Starting just 10 league games in the process, the agent of Neal Maupay has addressed his client’s chances of leaving Everton this summer, with Serie A touted as a potential destination.

“We had a strong negotiation with Salernitana, then he went to Everton.”
“There was a managerial change, we are at the end of the season and we’ll see what to do. He sees Serie A as a place to go, we will work to accommodate him, probably there will be work for him in Italy”, he said.
Everton should cut their losses in the summer
Regardless of whether Everton survive in the English top-flight, it may be time for the club to admit that Neal Maupay was a poor signing and allow him to follow his agent to the Serie A.
Maupay was never renowned for having an eye for goal at Brighton and it has come as no surprise to many that in a team that is much worse, he has struggled even more.
This should come as a lesson to the Merseyside-based club about being smarter in the transfer market moving forward.
