Isco has now offered himself to AC Milan, Lazio and Roma in a free out-of-window transfer following his release by Sevilla. The midfielder has also held talks with Everton over a deal.

That is according to Calciomercato, which reports Isco has told his agents to explore moves to the three Serie A sides. The Spaniard is desperate to find his next club after a transfer to Union Berlin collapsed in January. He had completed his medical with the Bundesliga side.

But talks with Die Eisernen fell through and Isco could now find his future is in Italy, rather than Germany. Agents working on behalf of the 30-year-old have contacted Roma to see if Jose Mourinho is interested. They have suggested Isco can replace Nicolo Zaniolo in Rome.

Roma have just sanctioned Zaniolo’s transfer to Galatasaray for an initial €16.5m (£14.5m), plus €13m (£11.5m) in add-ons. So, Isco and his representatives sense a window to find his place at the Stadio Olimpico. Zaniolo started 12 of his 13 Italian top-flight games this term.

But Roma are yet to confirm a position on Isco as the Giallorossi continue to study the pros and cons. So, the 38-cap Spain maestro’s camp also approached AC Milan and Lazio. Yet neither the Rossoneri nor Biancocelesti hierarchies showed much appetite for his transfer.

Isco’s agents have also offered Everton a chance to seal his free transfer

AC Milan and Lazio feel a free transfer for Isco is an interesting option but also a risky deal. He left Sevilla in December after agreeing to the mutual termination of his contract with the club. The midfielder also only played 19 times while at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Through those appearances, Isco further only offered one goal and three assists over 1,265 minutes. Although his final assist came at Manchester City in a 3-1 Champions League loss in Group G. Isco picked out Rafa Mir to break the deadlock from a 31st-minute corner kick.

Now, though, Isco is eying his new club and could find a home at Everton if Roma pass up a free transfer. 90min has already reported that the playmaker’s agents have contacted the Toffees over a move. The Times also claims a free transfer for Isco is of interest to Everton.

Isco can offer Everton a creative presence whom Carlo Ancelotti considers ‘fantastic’ with an out-of-window transfer. He may also not need time to build his fitness having started in 10 of his 12 La Liga games for Sevilla after joining them in August after leaving Real Madrid.
