Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been hailed as ‘unique’ by Everton boss Frank Lampard after he decided to leave Goodison Park.
Everton boss Lampard finds himself under enormous pressure on Merseyside.
Saturday’s defeat to Southampton means Everton have now lost five of their last seven games in the Premier League.
With just two points taken from a possible 21, Everton are in real danger of slipping into the Championship.
Lampard kept Everton up last season but doing the same again this term is looking like a real battle.
Everton have scored just 15 times this season and seem to be really missing Richarlison after his summer move to Tottenham.

Everton boss Frank Lampard praises Tottenham striker Richarlison
Richarlison was outstanding in Everton’s battle against relegation and finished the season with 10 goals and five assists in 30 games.
Richarlison scored six goals in Everton’s last nine Premier League games to help the Toffees achieve survival.
The Brazilian wasn’t going to stick around for another relegation fight though and he decided to leave Everton over the summer.
Tottenham struck a £60million deal to sign Richarlison, adding another quality attacker to Antonio Conte’s side.
Richarlison hasn’t excelled in the Premier League, so far failing to score in 10 Premier League outings for Tottenham.
The 25-year-old has though bagged three Premier League assists and a couple of Champions League goals, with injuries really holding him back.
Everton would no doubt love to have a player of Richarlison’s quality leading the line for them this season – and Lampard knows it.
Lampard has been quoted by The Independent as saying that Richarlison is a ‘unique player’ and that it has been hard to replace him.
Lampard highlighted that Richarlison is Brazil’s number nine and that losing a player of his quality was always going to leave Everton in a bit of trouble.
“The start (to the season) was going to be tough but it was where we are building and for us that probably meant staying where we are in the league and that may be the reality,” said Lampard.
“I don’t mean to sound negative. Once Richarlison moved, it’s hard to replace him, a unique player, Brazil’s number nine,” he added.
Tottenham fans ultimately want to see more from Richarlison when he is back fit again – and Everton will have to hope to stay up without Richarlison in their attack.
