Everton will hold talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin over his future amid speculation that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United want to sign him in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.
The Times have reported that discussions with Calvert-Lewin are set to take place regarding his future at Everton.
The Daily Mail reported last month that both Arsenal and Newcastle have registered their interest in the 25-year-old £72,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker.
Arsenal or Newcastle United for Dominic Calvert-Lewin?
In our view, Arsenal would be more appealing than Newcastle United for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Yes, Newcastle are a big club and have rich owners in PIF now, but Arsenal will play in the Europa League next season and are a global brand.

The North London club will also challenge for the Premier League top four next season, just as they did in 2021-22.
The Gunners will need strikers, and Calvert-Lewin will be aware that he could walk straight into Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup.
The 25-year-old striker scored five goals and gave two assists in 15 Premier League starts this past season.
Calvert-Lewin scored 16 goals in the league in 2020-21 and scored 13 goals in the league in 2019-20.
