The Toffees are looking to relocate from Goodison Park to Bramley Moore Dock in the next few years.

Everton and Denmark icon Thomas Gravesen has made a comparison between the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium when discussing Goodison Park’s prospective successor, the Bramley Moore Dock stadium.
Over the past three years, the Toffees have been progressing with plans regarding a new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock on the banks of the River Mersey.
The latest step saw the club announce record-breaking figures for The People’s Project’s public consultation, with over 63,000 responses confirmed to have been received over both phases (Liverpool Echo).
Tottenham and Arsenal are two of the largest English clubs to move stadiums over the past 20 years and Gravesen spoke of how he feels Spurs have managed to “keep the atmosphere that they had at White Hart Lane” while the Gunners’ new ground “is nowhere near as intimidating as Highbury was”.
“The new stadium issue is a tricky one for me,” he told the Liverpool Echo. “I get that the club needs to keep progressing… but it’s a lot of upheaval and let me tell you, Goodison Park has a real fear factor. Other teams do not like playing at Goodison. Change can be difficult, and it’s not always plane sailing when a club moves to a new stadium.

“Spurs are doing ok with their new ground because they’ve managed to keep the atmosphere that they had at White Hart Lane. But look at Arsenal. Highbury was a fortress for them. It was an old ground, it was tight – just like Goodison and while they’ve done ok at the Emirates, it is nowhere near as intimidating as Highbury was for opposing players. It’s a bit of a conundrum. If the club moves it has to be right, the stadium has to be right. Goodison is a very special place.”
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are estimating a proposed stadium at Bramley Moore Dock to take three years to build from the moment construction gets underway.
