Everton want Taylor Harwood-Bellis but face competition for the defender from both Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Toffees signed two centre backs over the summer as both Conor Coady and James Tarkowski arrived at Goodison Park.
Everton’s defensive record has certainly improved with those two players on board, and Frank Lampard still has the likes of Ben Godfrey, Yerry Mina, Mason Holgate and Michael Keane at the club.
Everton seem well-stocked at the back, especially with Jarrad Branthwaite also on the books, but the Toffees may fancy another centre back.

Everton want Taylor Harwood-Bellis
The Sun’s Alan Nixon now reports that Everton are watching Burnley defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis on a regular basis.
It’s stated that Everton ‘have a season ticket’ at Turf Moor as they continue to watch Harwood-Bellis.
However, there are now a couple of new competitors in this race with Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers keen.
Leicester sold Wesley Fofana over the summer and whilst Wout Faes is impressing, the futures of Caglar Soyuncu and Jannik Vestergaard are unclear and Jonny Evans is now 34.
The Foxes may want a long-term partner for Faes at the back and Harwood-Bellis could fit the bill.
Wolves allowed Coady to join Everton despite also seeing Romain Saiss leave over the summer.
Wolves have been going with Max Kilman and Nathan Collins at centre back and may fancy Harwood-Bellis to add more competition.
Harwood-Bellis, 20, is only on loan at Burnley from Manchester City.
The talented young defender has been out on loan four times now; Blackburn Rovers, Anderlecht, Stoke City and now Burnley have all taken him in.
Featuring regularly under Vincent Kompany, Harwood-Bellis is gaining valuable experience but breaking through at City isn’t easy.
City may be open to selling Harwood-Bellis with a buy-back option given his potential.
Hailed as a ‘warrior’ by former Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray, Harwood-Bellis has everything to become a real star and Everton will face quite the fight to sign him.
