Everton have been linked with a move for Watford attacker Richarlison in recent times.

According to a report in ESporte, Watford have decided to put a £50 million asking price on Richarlison, and that means that Everton would be making a serious statement of intent if they were to sign him.

The Sun reported how Everton were interested in Richarlison ahead of the January transfer window.

The Toffees have not yet made a move for the Brazilian, but he could well still be on Sam Allardyce’s wishlist.

The 20-year-old has scored five goals and claimed five assists in 24 Premier League appearances, which has alerted the attentions of a number of teams across England.

Everton are said to have been keeping their eye on Richarlison, but landing him now would show huge ambition.

Everton would have to break their current transfer record to bring in the attacker, but there is no question that he would be an eye-catching addition at Goodison Park.

Everton already have a clutch of talented youngsters at the club, but Richarlison would be the most exciting of the group, and if there is a way that the Toffees could complete the transfer, it would be worth pursuing.
