Several Premier League teams look set to miss out on the signature of summer Bosman transfer Rachid Ghezzal.
Le Buteur reported this week that Everton, who were heavily linked in the summer for the Algerian, are also joined by West Ham and Middlesbrough in the hunt for the Lyon player.
The player admitted in the summer that he rejected a potential move to Everton. He was quoted by the Daily Star as telling Canal+:
“We are playing in the Champions League and we have a good group.
“I wouldn’t go for the money. Everton was less interesting than Lyon.”
It is not clear whether Everton remained interested in his services but it appears to be a mute point.
Ghezzal has reportedly agreed terms with someone else.

According to Foot Sur 7 he has agreed to join Ligue 1 rivals AS Monaco. The Monegasque side are currently top of Ligue ! and hoping to end PSG’s domestic dominance as well as thriving in the Champions League.
Everton will therefore not be getting their hands on the player, who has clearly got the talent to go a long way in the game. West Ham and Boro will also be missing out, of the report does turn out to have grounds.
Monaco though will be pleased to be snatching a top talent from a league rival.
