Everton’s poor run of form ended on Monday evening with a 1-0 away win over Sheffield United.
The Toffees had gone winless in four games before their trip to South Yorkshire, particularly struggling on the road with defeats at Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, Carlo Ancelotti got it spot on against the Blades, bagging all three points having switched to more of a 4-2-3-1 system.
Richarlison’s header from a Gylfi Sigurdsson free kick was enough to claim the win, with Ancelotti no doubt delighted with the clean sheet too.
After the game, Richarlison took to Instagram to celebrate his goal, and received a reply that grabbed the interest of Everton fans.
Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes celebrated Richarlison’s goal in the comments, showing his fellow Brazilian some support after his strike.

The centre back has though been strongly linked with Everton; The Guardian reported earlier this month that Everton have ‘made progress’ in their attempts to sign Gabriel.
Ancelotti’s former club Napoli may scupper their plans, but Gabriel has been eyed to come in and bolster the Everton back four whilst offering a natural left-footed option as balance.
Unsurprisingly, Everton fans responded to Gabriel’s comment by sharing their excitement and telling him to get down to Goodison Park, believing that he wants to join forces with Richarlison.
