Everyone is different when it comes to supporting their side. Some simply cannot afford to go to games in person, meanwhile some would not miss a match if their life depended on it. In any case, Everton superfan David France most certainly falls into the latter category.

As reported by Liverpool Echo, in his recent book entitled ‘Everton Crazy’ David France details his long journey throughout his working career, and how it all leads back to one thing – Everton Football Club.

His accolades include forming the Everton Former Players Foundation, assembling the Everton Collection which is worth over £1.4m and experiencing a successful career in the US gas and oil industry.

But above all that, one of the most notable feats is just how far he has traveled to watch his beloved Toffees. Over the course of around 60 years, he has clocked up over 2,000,000 miles having been based over in America for so long.

He lets nothing get in his way including his health, having discharged himself from hospital to go and watch Everton on numerous occasions.

There are many people who can claim to be a superfan of their club, and David France is most certainly up there with the best of them.
