The Chelsea defender enjoyed a season-long loan spell with Everton this season.

According to a report from the Telegraph, Everton have been dealt a blow with the news that Chelsea plan to keep Kurt Zouma this summer, in light of their transfer ban being upheld.
The Frenchman, 24, joined the Toffees on a season-long loan from the west London club last summer, and was a real hit at Goodison Park, making 36 appearances in all competitions for Marco Silva’s side.
It seems as though Everton will now have to look for another top quality centre-back, however, with the Telegraph reporting that Chelsea will not allow Zouma to leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer.
And that will be a bitter pill to swallow for the Merseyside outfit.
Zouma was such an important player for Everton this season, and bringing in a player of similar quality will cost them a small fortune.

With Phil Jagielka leaving the club this summer, Everton will be left short in central defence, and that must now be a priority issue to address for Silva.
The Sun claimed earlier this year that Chelsea valued the Frenchman at around £30 million, and in today’s day and age, that would have been a real bargain for the Toffees.
