Dominic Calvert-Lewin is yet to get off the mark for Everton so far this season.

Brands suggested that Calvert-Lewin was a big part of Everton’s plans for the future last season, when he claimed that the Toffees would not bring sign a ‘big name’ striker in the Echo.
And Calvert-Lewin admits that the Everton director of football’s words about him really pleased him.
“It’s massive belief the club have put in me and it (Brands’ comment) was a massive confidence boost and he way I take that is that I want to prove them right and repay them with good performances and goals,” he said.
Calvert-Lewin has continued to be offered chances at Everton at the start of this season, but he still is struggling for goals.

Calvert-Lewin has been in Marco Silva’s side’s starting line-up for their first two Premier League games, but he hasn’t even come close to scoring yet.
The Everton youngster is under pressure to start hitting the back of the net, as Moise Kean is now waiting in the wings.
Kean also is a young forward, but his goalscoring record in his career is more impressive than Calvert-Lewin’s, and he could take the England youth international’s starting place in the coming weeks.
