Tosun has been linked with a return to Besiktas after joining Everton from the Turkish club in January.

Cenk Tosun has told Turkish outlet MyNet that he is happy at Everton despite being linked with a return to Besiktas in the January transfer window.
Takvim claimed earlier this week that Besiktas were to step up interest in the 27-year-old forward ahead of a potential loan return to the Turkish giants in January – a year after Tosun left Besiktas to join Everton for £27million (Telegraph).
A loan swoop could be on the cards as Tosun has netted just seven goals since joining the Toffees in January, despite appearing 26 times for the Merseyside outfit since his move. He has cost £3.9m a goal.
However, Tosun told Turkish media that he is happy at Everton and rubbished the rumours of a return to the SuperLig outfit by stating the rumours are just “gossip”.
“I’ve opened a new page in my career and I’m happy in Everton. The rumours of Besiktas is just gossip,” Tosun said.

Tosun has fallen down the pecking order at Everton, with Marco Silva preferring to use Richarlison as a striker over the 35-time Turkey international. Indeed, Tosun has remained an unused substitute in Everton’s last two Premier League outings.
The striker has three and a half years remaining on his contract at Goodison Park, but it seems as though the striker will continue to fight for his place at Everton rather than returning to Besiktas.
