Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are both keen on the England international.
Everton’s Ross Barkley in action
The London Evening Standard has reported that Everton star Ross Barkley would not be put off at the prospect of moving to London, if a move to Tottenham Hotspur was put on the table this summer.
This week has seen Spurs and Arsenal both linked with a move for the player, whose form has recently improved massively at Goodison Park.
Tottenham are considered the favourites for his signature, but it has been suggested that Barkley could be resistant to a move down south.
The Standard is suggesting that this would not be a problem at all, with Barkley more than open to a move down south.
Everton will of course be hoping to keep the England international. Ronald Koeman has got the best out of the player recently after what had been perceived as under-achievement from the Everton player.
Everton’s Ross Barkley scores their second goal
Spurs are looking to strengthen their team, with a title challenge looking like coming up short again this season and after yet another disappointing European campaign.
A move for Barkley could be a big step in improving both.
