Everton recently sold Idrissa Gueye to Paris Saint-Germain, and now they will be searching the market for a replacement.

It was inventable that Everton were going to lose Idrissa Gueye this summer, as the hard work starts now for the club to replace the reliable midfielder before the transfer window slams shut.
RMC Sport recently claimed that Chelsea powerhouse Tiemoue Bakayoko could be one of the players to replace Gueye at Goodison Park.
Bakakyoko joined Chelsea two seasons ago from Ligue 1 side Monaco, and it is fair to say that he had an absolutely torrid time in the middle of the park.
The 24-year-old produced abject performances and proved that he simply couldn’t cope with the pace of England’s top-flight, as he was loaned out by the London club last summer.
He has since returned to Chelsea, and if Everton do decide that he should be the replacement for Gueye then the Toffees supporters will no doubt fume.

Rather than signing him, Everton are better off giving one of their younger players a chance or pushing summer signing Fabian Delph into that role.
Bakayoko simply isn’t the answer to what Marco Silva is now looking for, and signing him would cause more problems for the Merseyside club.
Whilst it’ll be very difficult to replace Gueye, the European hopefuls need a player that can be tidy in possession, read defensive situations very well and break up the play. Bakayoko has shown none of that during his time in England.
Plus, if Everton were to surprisingly sign him, they would more than likely have to pay a big fee for the player because Chelsea purchased him for £40 million [BBC Sport]. Once again, he has proven that he isn’t worth anywhere near the sum Chelsea paid for him.
