Lascelles is also a player who has impressed this season, with his form at Newcastle catching the eye.
Even more interestingly, Everton already have Jordan Pickford at the club, which means they could dominate England’s defensive players for the coming years.
Having a familiar trio of Pickford, Keane and Lascelles all playing together at club and international level would surely benefit England.
And it means that Everton and Southgate could all be keen on seeing Lascelles at Goodison Park next season.
