Everton have been criticised by their own supporters for playing dull football this season.

Hakim Ziyech of Ajax looks on during the UEFA Europa League Final between Ajax and Manchester United at Friends Arena on May 24, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden.

According to the Daily Mirror (April 22nd, page 64), Everton are lining up a double swoop for Hakim Ziyech and Hirving Lozano in the summer.

PSV Eindhoven director of football Marcel Brands is set to move to Goodison Park, and he already is formulating transfer plans for the Toffees.

Brands is said want to bring Lozano with him to Everton, and he also wants Ziyech snapped up, after being impressed by the attacking midfielder’s performances in the Eredivisie this term.

And if Everton can successfully pull off the double swoop it would completely transform their attack.

If the Toffees could have Lozano, Ziyech and Theo Walcott forming their supply line behind the striker then there would be no excuses for playing stale football.

The trio would have the potential to be one of the most exciting front lines in the Premier League, with Everton having pace, trickery and skill from all areas.

Everton fans have grown frustrated with the lack of entertainment on offer since Sam Allardyce took charge, but with Ziyech and Lozano in their team, they would be forced to play on the front foot.

And the potential double swoop should excite Everton fans, as it could have the potential to transform their attacking play.
