Everton are said to be chasing Celta Vigo midfielder Daniel Wass.

The central midfielder is said to be on the radar of Marcel Brands, as he looks to bring talent to Goodison Park.
And if he the new director of football did start by snapping up Wass, he would be making a fine start to life at Goodison Park.

Wass has just a year left on his contract with Celta Vigo, which means he could be available for a cut price this summer.
If Everton were to win the race, they would be securing one of the value-for-money transfers of the summer.
Wass may be 29, but he has been out of the stand out midfielders in Spain over the past campaign.

The Danish international has made 35 appearances in La Liga, scoring four times and claiming nine assists.
Wass is capable of playing centrally or out right, and he could offer Everton versatility and quality.
Getting a deal over the line could be difficult, as there is plenty of interest in Wass, but if Everton can complete the transfer then Brands can rest assured his first deal would be a massive bargain for the Toffees.
