According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton are on the hunt for a right-back this summer, and that could be terrible news for Jonjoe Kenny.

Marco Silva is said to want to make six additions to Everton’s team in the coming weeks, with a new right-back on his wishlist.

Silva wants to provide competition for Seamus Coleman at Goodison Park, as he looks to add depth to his squad.

And if Everton do bring in a new right-back then it would suggest that Kenny needs a move elsewhere.

Kenny has already struggled for game time this season, where Silva has regularly overlooked him.

The England youth international made just seven Premier League starts this campaign, and most of those were when Coleman was out of form.

If Everton knock Kenny even further down the pecking order then alarm bells will surely have to start ringing for the 22-year-old.

And it could be that Silva’s transfer plans ultimately spell the end for him at Everton.
