Would Olivier Giroud consider another move to Everton after snubbing Ronald Koeman?

Ronald Koeman raised more than a few eyebrows in October of 2017 when he intimated that Olivier Giroud had inadvertently played a role in his sacking at Everton.
Then at Arsenal, Giroud looked set to join Everton the previous August and even travelled to Merseyside to complete the switch, but instead elected to stay in North London.
Koeman later told Voetbal International that the Frenchman’s u-turn was ‘hard to swallow’ and suggested that the Goodison Park hierarchy wouldn’t have relieved him of his duties had he signed the big striker, who the Dutchman wanted to replace Romelu Lukaku.
Fast forward 15 months and the out-of-favour Chelsea striker might just fancy a move to Marco Silva’s Toffees now.
Giroud, who has had to accept a substitute’s role at Chelsea following a £20 million January move [The Telegraph], cited a desire to stay in London as a contributing factor behind his Everton snub, but he might well consider Merseyside now if it meant an increase in playing time.
The World Cup winner, who has played 398 minutes of a possible 1,170 in the Premier League this season, is a level above Cenk Tosun and a much better back-up option for Richarlison.
He wouldn’t start every week, but he would surely play more at Everton than he has been lately and a follow-up bid makes a lot of sense for Silva and Marcel Brands this January.
