The Barcelona ace would be an excellent addition for Everton.

Marco Silva the head coach

Everton fans will be expecting their side to make a real push for the top six this season.

The Toffees are already a pretty strong outfit, but that doesn’t mean that Marco Silva will not still be keen to strengthen.

One particular area of concern for the Portuguese will be the fact that his only real number 10 is Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Should the Icelandic ace suffer an injury or be missing through suspension, Everton will be fairly short in the attacking midfield department.

And with this in mind, the Blues should consider a move for Barcelona ace Rafinha.

Technical ability

The Brazilian, 26, is exceptionally gifted with a football at his feet.

He is cool and composed when in possession and has wonderful vision. He would undoubtedly help Everton improve upon the fluidity of their play through the middle of the pitch.

Versatility

The Barca ace can operate anywhere from an orthodox central midfield position to the number 10 role, or even as a winger.

In times of need, he can also be used as an auxiliary striker, and that kind of versatility would surely appeal to Silva.

Potential to become great

At 26, Rafinha still has his best years ahead of him, and if given the opportunity to play regularly for Everton, he really could reach an entirely new level on Merseyside.

According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Rafinha could be available for around £30 million, and in today’s day and age, he would be well worth Everton’s money.

Barcelona are said to be keen on re-signing Neymar, so they would surely be open to the idea of selling the 26-year-old, in order to help fund their move for the Brazilian superstar.
