Everton were interested in signing the winger in January, according to reports.

Everton boss Marco Silva will surely be a busy man in the transfer market this summer.
One particular area where the Portuguese might want to bolster is his attacking department, with more competition required for the likes of Theo Walcott, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
And with this in mind, Everton should revisit their interest in Barcelona ace Malcom, with Spanish media outlet Marca claiming that he will be sold this summer.
Spanish publication Marca claimed in January that the Toffees wanted to sign the South American, but a move to Merseyside failed to materialise for the winger.
The Brazilian joined Barca from Bordeaux in the summer of 2018 for a fee believed to be worth £36.5 million, according to the Guardian, but he has struggled to establish himself at the Camp Nou.
It could be argued that the 22-year-old hasn’t been given ample opportunity to impress at Barcelona, however, and he could flourish under Silva’s guidance at Everton.

Malcom possesses pace in abundance, and has exceptional technical ability.
His potential arrival at Goodison Park would help take the pressure off Richarlison in the final third, and he might just strike up a wonderful partnership with his countryman.
The Barca ace can play anywhere along the front-line, and considering the fact that the Catalans are desperate to sell, Everton might just be able to snap him up for somewhat of a bargain.
And should Silva manage to bring him to Goodison, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Merseyside outfit.
