Liverpool are allegedly keen on signing the German, but Everton should join their rivals in the race for his signature.

Everton boss Marco Silva will be keen to bolster his wide attacking ranks at Goodison Park in the summer, in an effort to add more of a quality end product to his team.
With this in mind, the Portuguese should consider a move for Bayer Leverkusen ace Julian Brandt, who is attracting attention from Liverpool, according to German media outlet Bild.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form in Germany this season, chalking up seven goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances in all competitions for Leverkusen, and he would be an excellent addition for the Toffees.
Brandt can play anywhere along the front-line, and he is more technically gifted than the Toffees’ current wingers Theo Walcott and Ademola Lookman.
German publication Bild claims that the Germany international could be available for just €25 million (£21.4 million) this summer, and Everton cannot afford to miss out on what would be an incredible bargain.

Brandt is already vastly experienced, despite his tender years, and he would add a real level of potency to the Toffees’ attacking play.
Whilst Liverpool might prove to be a more attractive proposition for the Leverkusen ace, Everton must try to convince him into moving to Goodison Park instead.
He really would be a superb signing for the Blues.
