Tottenham wanted Davy Klaassen in the summer.

Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen could have a big decision to make on his future, with manager Sam Allardyce admitting he is happy for the Dutchman to go out on loan [via The Mirror].
Klaassen has been a flop since his £24 million arrival from Ajax, and a move away from the club makes sense, temporarily at least.
The playmaker’s destination is uncertain, but Everton should not be afraid to send him to a team in a superior position, namely Tottenham.
Tottenham were interested in the summer, The Telegraph reported, and Spurs should consider a loan move for the underperforming Everton star.
Why he would be successful
The reason Klaassen would succeed at Spurs rather than Everton is simple… he will be playing with better players.
With prolific striker Harry Kane banging in the goals, Klaassen could quickly get his confidence up.

He would be able to play alongside former Ajax teammate Davinson Sanchez, while Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Chrisitan Eriksen also played for the Dutch giants.
This ability to settle quickly would be strengthened by Tottenham’s stability under Mauricio Pochettino, compared to Everton, who have had three managers in the dugout this season.
What’s in it for Everton?
Klaassen is a hugely talented player who has had a tough time over the first few months. A loan to Tottenham would be a fast-track way to getting him back to his best.
The playmaker needs confidence and to believe he can do it in the Premier League. He can come back to Goodison a better player, more astute and ready for a second chance.
Tottenham are no rivals to Everton, competing for very different positions despite the Toffees early season aspirations, and this is a far better option than loaning him out to a side around them in the table.
