Everton are likely to be on the look out for a new goalscorer at the end of the season.

Andrea Belotti was once valued as an £87 million striker by Torino, but he could now be a realistic option for Everton.

Belotti enjoyed a wonderful season in Serie A last campaign, where he scored prolifically and attracted a lot of attention.

Torino were determined to keep hold of their star man, and slapped a huge price tag on him, as the Independent reported.

However, Belotti’s value has collapsed now – after what has been a disappointing campaign.

The Italian international picked up an injury which disrupted his momentum, and he has failed to score with any frequency this term.

Belotti has hit just six league goals this term, and surely would not command anywhere near the fee that was talked about just last year.

Everton should now consider making a move for Belotti, as he could be the answer to their striking problems.

Sam Allardyce was looking at Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in January, so the Toffees obviously have a big budget to spend on a forward.

And if they could restore Belotti back to his best, he would be a cracking addition.

Cenk Tosun has, of course, shown his value to Everton in recent weeks – but the Toffees are likely to still want more striking options for next season, and Belotti should now be under consideration.
