Everton are interested in signing Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun, and it would be smart of the Toffees to make a move for Fernando Llorente as well.
Rose is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League, and the 27-year-old would be a superb signing for Everton.
The Merseyside outfit should also approach Spurs for Llorente, with The London Evening Standard claiming that Tottenham want to sell the 33-year-old striker.
The Spain international striker has struggled at Spurs since his switch from Swansea City in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £12 million.
Llorente, though, was superb during his time at Swansea, scoring 15 goals and providing one assist in 28 Premier League starts for the Swans during the 2016-17 campaign.
The 33-year-old is good in the air and is also brilliant inside the opposition penalty box, and with Yannick Bolasie and Theo Walcott to supply him, the former Juventus and Sevilla striker could score a lot of goals.
True, Cenk Tosun has done well since his move from Besiktas in the January transfer window, but the addition of Llorente, who earns £75,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, would add depth to the Everton frontline.
