Everton could secure some real bargains this summer by bringing three soon-to-be out of contract Manchester City players to the club.

Ronald Koeman will be looking to bolster his squad even further in the summer, but he won’t have to break the bank to bring true quality to the club during the transfer window.

Some of the Premier League’s best players are due to be out of contract in the summer, and here are three Manchester City stars who have the potential to take the Toffees to the next level…

Yaya Toure:

The 33-year-old Ivorian will be out of contract at the Etihad in the summer, and whilst he is clearly not the player he once was, he could prove to be the ideal addition to the Everton squad.

And a player with his kind of experience could do wonders for the progression and development of the likes of Ross Barkely and Tom Davies.

An accusation often levelled at the Toffees is that they lack any kind of real winners, so who better to bring to Goodsion Park than the two-time Premier League and Champions League winning Toure?

As he evolves into a more mature player, he could also be used in a deeper role, and alternate with Gareth Barry, as the 36-year-old nears the end of his career.

Jesus Navas:

The Spaniard is anther City star who will be out of contract in the summer, and with Ronald Koeman’s need for more options in the wide attacking areas, the 31-year-old could be just the ticket.

Still in possession of blistering pace, along with the ability to fizz dangerous crosses into the box, Navas could be the man to help bring the best out of Romelu Lukaku.

And whilst he has often flattered to deceive at the Etihad, the opportunity of more regular first-team football could be just what the former Sevilla man needs to prove his true worth.

Pablo Zabaleta:

The Argentine has been one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers over the past nine years, and at 32-years-old, he is still very capable of performing to the very highest levels.

Another experienced winner, Zabaleta would bring even more experience to the Everton backline, and provide Koeman with another fantastic option in the right-back position, or the deep-lying midfield role.

The likes of Mason Holgate would also benefit greatly from having the two-time Premier League winner around the club, and what the youngsters at Finch Farm could learn from him could prove to be priceless.
