The Frenchman would be an excellent addition for Everton.

Marco Silva the head coach

Everton boss Marco Silva will be expected to guide his side to a top seven finish next season, and possibly even gatecrash the top six.

The Toffees have already secured the £22 million signing of Andre Gomes from Barcelona, but there is a lot of work still to be done.

Silva desperately needs to bring an establish goalscorer to Goodison Park before the start of the new season, but who should he be targeting?

And ideal option for Everton would be Eintracht Frankfurt hitman Sebastien Haller.

The 25-year-old was in superb form in Germany last season, racking up 20 goals and 12 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions, and he possesses all of the attributes that the Toffees currently lack in the final third.

Haller has pace in abundance, and his ability to make penetrating runs in behind the opposition’s defence would free up space for the likes of Gomes and Gylfi Sigurdsson to work their magic.

The Frenchman is also a lethal finisher, and would be well capable of scoring 20 goals per season or more for Everton.

Haller is strong, and can also play with his back to goal, bringing others into play.

According to Forbes, he could be available for around £35 million this summer, and in today’s market, that could just be a deal that Everton cannot afford to miss out on.

Haller could be a real star at Goodison Park, and he could be the signing that takes Silva’s side to the next level.
