It is looking increasingly likely that Olivier Giroud will leave Arsenal in the January transfer window after France manager Didier Deschamps warned the striker he needs to be playing more to get a place in the squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Giroud scored an 88th-minute equaliser for the Gunners in their Premier League 1-1 draw with Southampton at the weekend, his 13th substitute appearance in the division this season.

In fact the only starts for the 31-year-old in 2017/18 have come in the Europa League and Carabao Cup and the forward is preparing to leave the Emirates Stadium in the New Year, with the Mirror reporting both Crystal Palace and West Ham United are interested.
Having almost joined Everton over the summer it had seemed a move to Merseyside would be the most likely, but Giroud’s wife is expecting their third child and therefore the Frenchman wants to stay in London.

This would be a blow for the Toffees, but if either the Eagles or West Ham sign the attacker – on what would be an initial loan deal – then they should look to capitalise on two other targets.
According to the Daily Mail both Palace striker Christian Benteke and the Hammers’ Andy Carroll are also interesting new boss Sam Allardyce and if Giroud were to arrive at either club, then the chance of them leaving would surely increase.
