Everton have recently met with Inter Milan… but not to discuss the transfer of Stevan Jovetic.
According to Calcio Mercato, Inter Milan are willing to offload Stevan Jovetic this summer, as they look to raise funds.
Inter loaned out Jovetic to Sevilla last season, and reportedly now want to offload him on a permanent transfer – meaning Everton could be missing a trick.
Everton have held a transfer meeting with Inter recently, as they assess whether they will be able to bring in any players from the Italian giants.

The Toffees are said to have an interest in Marcelo Brozovic, Jeison Murillo and Ever Banega (Gianluca Di Marzio), but Jovetic could be an even better fit.
Everton are likely to lose Romelu Lukaku this summer, which means that they will need to strengthen their forward line to replace the goals that the Belgian international gives them.

And Jovetic’s arrival at Goodison Park would significantly improve Koeman’s striking options.
Jovetic possesses a great amount of skill in possession, and is a very technically proficient forward.
The 28-year-old has already had one spell in English football, but his time at Manchester City was blighted by injury.
Jovetic’s record over his career proves he can play at the top level, though, and if Everton are in negotiations with Inter – they would be wise to enquire about the Montenegrin’s availability this summer.
