Sean Dyche has impressed Everton decision makers as they consider their next move after sacking Frank Lampard this week.
That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim that both Dyche and Marcelo Bielsa have held talks with Everton this week.
The duo are believed to have impressed during talks with Everton and more discussions are taking place today.
Bielsa appears to be the top target for Everton but the Toffees have an alternative in mind in Dyche.
Reports earlier this week suggested that Everton weren’t 100% sure that Dyche was the right man for the job.
Yet it now seems that Dyche has managed to go some way to convincing Everton of his suitability for the Goodison Park hot seat.
Frank Lampard lost his job on Monday night, with Saturday’s defeat at West Ham United proving to be the end – and Everton want a replacement in quickly.

Sean Dyche offers completely different option to Marcelo Bielsa for Everton
It’s quite something that Everton’s top two options appear to be Bielsa and Dyche – two managers who are very different.
Bielsa plays a pretty open man-to-man pressing system across the pitch with Leeds United fans seeing some beautiful football at Elland Road.
Dyche wasn’t quite so gung-ho at Burnley but did make them incredibly hard to beat and a constant threat when getting the ball into the box.
Leeds fans hold Bielsa in high regard but that’s how Burnley fans feel about Dyche too; there is even a pub in Burnley named after Dyche.
The former Watford defender guided Burnley into the Europa League and won two promotions from the Championship with the Clarets.
Dyche punched above his weight with Burnley and offered them great stability, two things Everton ultimately need right now.
Just how Everton have focused in on two managers who are very different is anybody’s guess but Dyche should be a strong candidate for the job.
