Sean Dyche is interested in becoming Everton boss should they decide to part ways with manager Frank Lampard in the near future.
That’s according to The Sun, who claim that Dyche is keen on the job should it become available soon.
Dyche has been snubbing Championship offers this season as he holds out for a return to the Premier League in his next job.
Everton are seemingly appealing to Dyche, with the Toffees surely minded to consider his credentials.
Lampard was only appointed as Everton boss in January of last year but find himself under huge pressure.
The 4-1 thrashing to Brighton and Hove Albion in midweek was met with a chorus of boos from disgruntled fans.
Everton are once again in danger of suffering relegation and if Lampard can’t turn results around soon, he risks being replaced.

Sean Dyche’s Premier League credentials may appeal to Everton
Dyche may not be the sexy choice for Everton but he may have what the Toffees are seeking.
Dyche united Burnley masterfully and had them punching above their weight for many years, much like David Moyes did at Everton.
The 51-year-old guided Burnley to the Premier League not once but twice, allowing them to become a settled top-flight side.
Dyche even took Burnley into Europe in 2018, resulting in a pub in Burnley renaming themselves ‘The Royal Dyche’ – that’s just how much they loved him.
Sadly, a lack of investment resulted in Burnley sliding into the Championship and Dyche was sacked before the end of the season.
That shouldn’t take anything away from Dyche’s work in the Turf Moor hot seat and he absolutely deserves a Premier League chance.
Dyche’s teams are known for being solid and resolute as an absolute minimum and Everton may need that kind of influence right now.
Add in that Dyche has history of keeping Burnley in the Premier League and Everton may well feel that they can stay up under him – but much will depend on Lampard’s immediate future.
