It has been reported that Delph is among a number of players Premier League club Everton are willing to accept offers for.
This will come as good news for Leeds, who will play in the top flight of English football next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship.
According to a report in The Daily Star on July 30, Leeds are planning to make a move for Delph, who is a central midfielder by trade but can operate as a left-back as well.
The England international started his professional club football career at the Whites before moving to Aston Villa in 2009.
Back to Leeds United?
Delph has not been exactly great at Everton, but the England international has had a very successful career and did well when he was at Villa and Manchester City.
The 30-year-old has a wealth of experience, and his ability in the middle of the park as well as at left-back would make Leeds a better team.
Perhaps the Whites should make an offer for Delph to Everton and see how it plays out.
