Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Everton’s Lucas Digne.

Everton will be in the market for more signings this summer after landing goalkeeper Jonas Lossl, and a left back is bizarrely on the radar according to reports.
The Toffees have signed Leighton Baines to a new contract, meaning the veteran is staying for another year, and he’ll be backing up Lucas Digne once again.
Surprisingly though, The Scottish Herald claim that Everton are ready to meet Celtic’s £25million valuation for Kieran Tierney, which seems bizarre after securing Baines.
If Everton do manage to tee up a deal for Tierney, that would leave them with three left backs – and may just give Tottenham a small ray of hope about a potential deal for Digne.
The Mirror reported earlier this month that Tottenham want to bring in Digne to be their new first-choice left back, thought Everton were demanding Danny Rose in exchange.
Rose would have been Digne’s replacement, but there’s now a chance that Tierney could take that role if Tottenham now firm up their interest in the Frenchman.

Without Rose as part of the deal, Spurs would still be looking at a pricey move. The 25-year-old picked up four goals and four assists last season, and will now be worth much more than the £22million Everton paid a year ago (Mirror).
The Tierney news surely hasn’t gone unnoticed at Tottenham though, and after hearing that Everton may well be signing another left back, Mauricio Pochettino and co should seize this new hope and try and tempt Everton into a Digne deal.
