Everton scouts are said to have watched the 26-year-old in action last week.

Everton have sent scouts to watch left-back Thomas Delaine in action for Paris FC, according to Le Parisien.
Delaine is something of a late developer, having only made his Ligue 2 debut at the start of this season – aged 25.
But the Lens-born player – who signed from fourth-tier Arras last summer – is said to have already established himself as one of the best in his position at Paris’s level.
And with his contract due to expire next summer, Delaine – allegedly referred to by his teammates as ‘Bip Bip’, after a cartoon animal renowned for his speed – could be a risk free signing for Everton as the Toffees search for Leighton Baines’ long-term successor.
Not to be confused with Thomas Delaney, the Danish midfielder also linked with a move to Everton, Delaine would be the latest Ligue 2 player snapped up by a club by whom Steve Walsh is employed, should he earn a move to Merseyside.

Walsh – whose involvement in Everton’s rumoured scouting trip is unclear – previously helped to discover Anthony Knockaert (now Brighton) and Riyad Mahrez for Leicester City.
