Everton are preparing a bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to The Mirror.
It has been reported that Palace are ready to listen to offers for Zaha, with the player himself wishing to play at a higher level.
The report has claimed that Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is ‘a big admirer’, and that the Toffees are planning to make an offer for the former Manchester United winger.
It has also been claimed that Everton made two bids for Zaha last year, but they were rejected.
Good signing for Everton?
Described as “a world-class player” by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in Metro in January 2019, Zaha is one of the best attack-minded footballers in the Premier League not to play for the ‘Big Six’.
The 27-year-old is at the peak of his powers and is on top of his game, and his pace, energy, dribbling skills, and creativity would make Everton a better and more potent team.
The Merseyside outfit could do with a player like Zaha who scares defenders with his running and vision, and he would enhance their chances of finishing in the Premier League top four next season.
