Everton are leading the race for Norwich City attacking midfielder James Maddison, who is also wanted by Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur among other clubs, according to Sky Sports.

It has been reported that Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Southampton all are interested in securing the services of the 21-year-old.

Everton, though, are leading the race, according to the report, which also claims that Norwich want between £20 million and £25m for the England Under-21 international.

Good signing for Everton?

Maddison is one of the best young attacking midfielders in the Championship in England, and the 21-year-old would be a very good signing for the Toffees in the summer transfer window..

The former Coventry City star has progressed well during his time at Norwich so far, having joined the Canaries from Coventry in February 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £3 million and then spending time on loan at the Sky Blues and Aberdeen.

The youngster could take a while to adapt to the Premier League, but there is no doubt that given his talent he has, he would progress well at Everton if given time.
