According to Le10 Sport, Everton are interested in signing Ander Herrera from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the Toffees are looking at 29-year-old Spain international midfielder as a potential replacement for 29-year-old Senegal international defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye, who is claimed to be on the radar of French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Good signing for Everton

Herrera is a brilliant footballer, and the United star will be a stunning and eye-catching signing for Everton.

The 29-year-old – who earns £75,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has been a success in the Premier League with United, and in Herrera, the Toffees will have a player who can make an immediate impact in the team.

With his current contract at the Red Devils running out at the end of the season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Herrera could be available for a cut-price fee.

Given that Herrera is only 29 years of age, the former Athletic Bilbao sea will be a good long-term signing for Everton.
