Everton have made an offer for Moises Caicedo, according to TMW, while The Daily Mail has reported that Brighton and Hove Albion have had their bid for the youngster accepted by Independiente Del Valle.

It has been reported by TMW that Everton have made a bid of €6 million (£5.41 million) for 80% of the 19-year-old’s rights and have assured Independiente that he will get immediate chances in the first team.

Serie A giants AC Milan are also interested in securing the services of the midfielder, according to the report.

However, The Daily Mail has claimed that Everton’s Premier League rivals Brighton have had an offer of £4.5 million for the youngster accepted by Independiente and hope to finalise the signing next week.

The report has claimed that the youngster is now due to undergo a medical at the Seagulls before completing a move to the Premier League club.

Promising talent

Caicedo has played four times for Ecuador, and it is clear that the teenager is a very good and promising young player.

It will be interesting to see how the midfielder does in the Premier League for Brighton. If the teenager does well, then perhaps Everton could make an approach to the Seagulls for him some time in the future.
